How to get started!

Okay, you JUST signed up as a consultant!! I am so excited for you!!! Welcome to the Galaxy Stars :)


I know this can be a bit overwhelming, even if you have been a part of a direct sales company before.


So, we made this checklist to try to make things a bit easier.


Step #1

Your website is up and ready to go!

What you need to do NOW is create a party link for YOU - this will be for your launch party.

Don’t worry too much about the name, just keep it simple.

“(Insert YOUR name) Launch Party” will suffice :)

Here is how to walk you through that process…

1. Log into your back office.

2. Go to the menu bar on the top right and navigate to sales

3. Click on the “Create A Party” tab

4. Select Party Host & Create New Host.

1. YOU are the host so put in all your information

5. Click ‘Create New Host’.

6. Enter your party date (this isn’t set in stone so put it out a week or so.)

7. Enter your Party Name – this will show up online so make it fun

8. After you click save, go to the Manage Invitations tab up top (The one with the envelope.)

9. Click Copy Party Link – This is what you will give to your friends, family and in your party group!


Step #2

Now, we need to create a VIP group inside of FB. This is where you will be promoting your business! Remember we don’t want you to be annoying on your personal page, but your VIP group is where people will WANT to know more about these awesome products!


You can name this whatever you want. Don’t sweat too much over this, you can always change it later.


How to set up VIP Group on Facebook:

  1. Go to Groups, Create New Group.
  2. Type in group name, change privacy to “Private” and “Visible”
  3. If you need help with a cover photo, ask the Consultant who enrolled you, she could probably help you find one for now!


Start off writing a welcome post - where you share what Tupperware is, why you love it, and a link to your party (that you already created in Step #1). Have a picture of you in the welcome post and maybe your favorite product! Ask your upline for some sales posts & pictures. I would have 5-7 posts in the group BEFORE you add anyone, so it doesn’t look empty when people join.


Step #3

Now it’s time to ANNOUNCE that you are a Tupperware Consultant!!!

On your personal page, post a picture of your kitchen with your gorgeous face telling everyone that you have jumped on the Tupperware train and are selling it. And invite them to your VIP group.


Once you have done all of these, you will just need to focus on posting daily in your VIP group along with your personal page. Mix it up. Be YOU! Don’t post about kitchen tools all day long - you want people to WANT to read your stuff - not roll their eyes every time they get a notification.


Things to remember:


  • Don’t get overwhelmed. This is a lot of information!
  • ASK QUESTIONS! Go to your upline and ask questions. We all remember what it’s like just starting out, so there is no such things as dumb questions. ASK THEM!
  • Make all of these posts your own! Don’t just copy and paste. :)
  • Invite everyone!
    • Send personal invites via messenger to your close friends
    • Then hit that invite button. Yes, I said it. Hit it and invite everyone! So many people have great memories with Tupperware. They have the choice to say no, but let them make that choice!
